Interior design / completed 2010
Central Stockholm / for Kungsleden

Kungsleden wanted to be innovative and accessible to its clients. The interior had to be welcoming and comfortable, with a rich variety of interesting details.

We used textiles and patterns in the form of stylised patchworks and embroidery to allude to local crafts and traditions. A carpet cropped to form a trail symbolises the second element of the company’s name and the walls in the lunchroom are decorated with motifs from the countryside through which the King’s Trail passes.

The furniture and reception area offer a homelike setting and the warmth of the timber and the colours creates a feeling of informality.
