Solna Strand / for Vasakronan
Reflex is planning the refurbishment and extension of the blue listed office block Nöten 5 close to the shoreline at Solna Strand.
The bulk of the block’s c. 48,000 m2 gross square metres comprises office premises, of which 4,500 will be in a newly constructed building that links the existing ones. At street level about 800 m2 of restaurants, cafés and conference facilities are planned.
The buildings with their characteristic concrete facades lie between Solna Strandväg and the shoreline. So that the pathway along the shore can be seen and accessed from the street the new linking building will be raised two storeys and the courtyards that were once enclosed will be open to both the tenants and the public.
Planning is under way and building is planned to start in the autumn of 2016.
